About Our Projects
The research activities of our centre’s members are thematically diverse, yet they share a focus on critically reflecting on cultural phenomena within historical, social, political, and theoretical contexts. We study cultural production and representations across different epochs and regions, as well as analyse their meanings, functions, and impacts in broader contexts.
Our projects cover a wide spectrum of topics – from visual culture, architecture, and design, to forms of folk culture and cultural transfers, as well as contemporary questions of aesthetic theory and methodological approaches within the humanities.
