CFP – From Comrades to Exotic Others: Global Art in the Exhibitionary Practices of Central and Eastern Europe
We cordially invite proposals for papers for the international conference From Comrades to Exotic Others: Global Art in the Exhibitionary Practices of Central and Eastern Europe, which will take place from the 5th to 7th of November 2026 at the Náprstek Museum of Asian, African and American Cultures. The conference forms part of Matthew Rampley’s research project Czechs and the Colonial World: Design and Visual Culture since 1848, funded by the Czech Science Foundation.
