Lucie Šubrtová

Lucie is a Master’s student at the Department of Art History at Masaryk University, where she primarily focuses on issues of applied arts and design, particularly within the context of modern domestic culture. Her work also addresses the essential yet often overlooked role of women in this field – more broadly, she is interested in how objects of applied art can serve as a starting point for opening discussions on important social topics. For her Master’s thesis, she plans to examine interior design projects created by Czechoslovak women designers.
