Jakub Sochor
Jakub is a PhD student who collaborates externally with the Department of Musicology at Masaryk University, where he lectures on architecture, particularly from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. His publications focus on modern art and its interdisciplinary intersections, especially avant-garde literature and industrial design.
His doctoral research examines the interconnections between the streamlined design of Czechoslovak Tatra vehicles and modern art and architecture. Jakub is also committed to popularising art and architectural history through collaborations with educational and cultural institutions, such as TIC Brno, where he develops teaching programmes and thematic guided tours.
