Markéta Rychterová

Markéta is a PhD student in the Digital Culture and Creative Industries programme at the Department of Musicology, Masaryk University. Her research focuses on the articulation of value in cultural activities and on ways to evaluate the impact and contribution of work in the cultural and creative sectors. She also explores fields such as festival studies, cultural management, support mechanisms, and sustainability.

Since 2017, she has served as Head of Project Management for the contemporary art platform PAF in Olomouc and is a member of the platform Artikula, which focuses on non-grant fundraising in the cultural sector. She currently also acts as the administrator for the project Czechs and the Colonial World: Design and Visual Culture since 1848.
